The Back In Time horse resort offers panoramic views of Vermont's Green
Mountains and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Riding terrain is
varied with tree-lined trails of maple, birch, beach, ash, and poplar.
You and your horse will be delighted when riding and carriage driving
through acres and acres of woodland and pasture.
Your hosts, Glenn and
Burnice Dow came to Vermont in 1991, where in 1994 they established the
Back In Time horse resort.
Glenn Dow was born in
Windsor, Vermont, and is a graduate from Norwich University. He has a
MBA from RPI and is a former employee of United Technologies
Corporation in Connecticut. Glenn also graduated from Oklahoma Farrier School.
Burnice is
originally from Connecticut where she grew up with horses and has an
extensive history of riding and showing. She attended Virginia
Intermont College and is also a former employee of UTC.
